Sattvik Excursions around IVAC:
There is beautiful Nandi (the bull of Shiva) statue up on Chamindi hill. Just besides this lives a very wonderful cave Swami who is worth visiting. Mysore itself has many well known attractions, it is also famous for the Govt. Sandalwood production.
If time permits, consider a pilgrimate to Melkote, a famous Vaishnava outpost.
ABOUT THE CLINIC:
IVAC is one of India's best centres for retreat in terms of the ambience and quality of treatments. It is more aimed at the Spa market then the clinical Panchakarma side. This is shown in the high end pricing and shortness of the packages. But as a spa and Ayurvedic retreat space it is very good. For intensive treatments, check first in detail with the doctors about the case as there might be better suited places for curititive Ayurvedic care. The setting and good Vaastu of the location in iteself is very deeply curititive and it's a great place to relax, rejuvenate and enjoy.
